TREES

The natural, organic shapes of trees and the varied, diffuse light in forests have intrigued me for years. I love photographing trees and woodland whenever I get a chance, especially those rare spots where man’s presence is invisible, making images almost ‘timeless’. Our forested areas are diminishing and finding true ‘ancient’ woodland is getting harder. My woodland photography celebrates the tenacity of the trees which manage to survive our presence and the peace that can be found wandering amongst them..
